Larry, Matt and Doug reporting from Namche Bazaar

Namche Bazaar
This is Larry , Doug and Matt reporting in from Namche Bazaar. We flew into Lukla yesterday and hiked to Phakding. We spent the night in a tea house. We spoke to Roger last night via satellite phone to learn there was still no news regarding Doug's luggage. We are still hoping for the best. Doug is dealing with this great and will do whatever it takes to take care of this problem. In the meantime, Doug's wife, Lisa Renee, and Larry's daughter, Amy, are working with the airlines to see if they can locate this critical piece of luggage. We make a plea to United and Thai airlines Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!! locate this bag.
This morning we hiked to Namche Bazaar. We had ~ 3,000 ft climb. This got the leg muscles working. On the way into Namche it snowed. The scenes were magnificent, suggestive of Shangi La. Namche sits at 11,500 ft. and is where Tibetans bring their goods over the high mountain passes to sell. It is quite a sight. We have met a lot of climbers and trekkers from around the world.
We will have a rest day here tomorrow and then head to Tengboche.
We want to say hello to all the school kids especially Matt's school in Steamboat, Alexandra Tumminello at Bradford elementary in Littleton, Colorado, and Layne Rigsby in Daphne, Alabama. You Rock!
