Even though online dating has been around for decades and new dating apps are popping up every day, are your Mom and Dad still freaking out at the fact that you're turning to technology to find your next bae? Instead of hoping you bring someone other than your BFF home to family gatherings (don't worry, we've all been there), they'd rather play a ruthless game of 20 questions about how dating apps work and why you think it's acceptable to rely on the Internet to play Cupid. But little do parents know that you're one of 14 million people who actually enjoy the convenience and freedom that dating apps offer. Let's take a stand and be proud of our online dating profiles.

How many of you have been asked by your parents why you would want to go online to find a romantic connection instead of approaching an attractive person on the other side of the fitness studio or while volunteering at the local dog rescue? Yeah, us too. You're not alone when it comes to being too dang exhausted from that demanding job and new work-out routine to go out and try to meet someone new every single weekend. Little do they know that these traditional values they swear on might not be as effective now that we have multiple potential date-night options just at the swipe of one finger. I mean come on, now we can do full online research before we accept a connection and it doesn't get much better than that! We all have friends in our lives who are in successful relationships that began on dating apps, proving that there is hope for all of us despite Mom trying to tell you it's embarrassing.

It's also common for parents to assume that you're using online dating to either find the love of your life or just one-time hook-ups, with no chance for a happy medium. While I can't speak for everyone, many of us resort to dating apps in hopes of a good time that will blossom into a relationship down the road, which is what any parent would want for their child. As you can imagine though, Dad gets frustrated when he has to listen to you talk about the times you matched up with a person who was too serious or not serious enough. But rather than making him think you're dwelling on the dates that didn't have fairy-tale endings, you need to take a deep breath and remind him that you take each date as an experience to either learn or laugh from, no matter what the outcome is. Online dating does not have to be waste of time if you have the right mindset, Dad!

But regardless of the negative vibes Mom and Dad try to toss your way, there are a thousand more reasons why they should (and someday will) become more accepting of this innovative way to date. We both know we would have never met even half of these people if we hadn't taken a leap of faith and downloaded that app. We've also become a society that relies so heavily on technology for anything and everything, so using it to our advantage in the name of love is only right. Dating apps also tap into something we strive for in just about every aspect in life – having more options. You never have to settle for less with online dating because there are always more fish in the sea waiting for you to reel them in.

It seems as if the health of America is failing. One million Americans will die of circulatory disease this year. Six hundred thousand lives will be cut short by cancer as well. How did we get in such a mess? I'm not sure. But there is a way out that is starting to generate a real buzz! Since CNN and the gang won't talk about it I decided to write is article.

Dear readers, I want to introduce you to the most nutrient dense food on the earth; wolfberries, or more specifically Lycium Barbarum.

The western scientific community have verified what Chinese and Tibetan health practitioners have known for thousands of years. Wolfberries are the healthiest known food on our planet.

In this report I will be talking specifically about wolfberries. In my research on the subject I found that not all wolfberries are created equal. The three most potent berries in the wolfberry family are Tibetan Goji berries, Chinese Xinjiang wolfberries and Chinese Ningxia wolfberries which all belong to the Lycium genus.

Wolfberries, a national treasure in China, have been used in traditional Chinese folk medicine for over 5,000 years. Ancient Chinese medical texts celebrated wolfberries for their wide range of health benefits including strengthening the 'chi "or life force of the body. The people who consumed this fruit apparently lived free of common diseases like arthritis, cancer and diabetes. has reached over 100 years!

In 1988, the Beijing Nutrition Research Institute conducted detailed chemical analysis and nutritional composition studies of the dried wolfberry fruit. Hold on to your socks, this is what they discovered. In addition to being packed with vitamins B1 and B6 (which is needed by the body to convert food into energy), and vitamin E (which has never been found in fruit before), wolfberries contain more protein then whole wheat, 18 amino acids ( 8 of them essential for life), 21 trace minerals (including significant amounts of zinc, iron, copper, calcium, selenium, phosphorus and germanium; a very rare anti-cancer agent almost never found in food), more beta carotene than carrots, 500 times more vitamin C by weight than oranges, essential fatty acids (required for the production of hormones and smooth functioning of the brain and nervous system) and is the richest source of carotenoids (natural fat-soluble pigments that play a critical role in vitamin A activity in humans) of any food on the planet. That's not all.

Here is a short list of other health promoting compounds found in Lycium Barbarum:

Beta Sitosterol: An anti-inflammatory agent found to lower cholesterol, and used to treat sexual impotence and prostrate enlargement.

Zeaxanthin and Lutine: Valued for their role in protecting the eyes.

Betaine: Used by the liver to produce Choline which assists detoxification reactions in the liver. Betaine is known to protect DNA, enhance memory, promote muscle growth and protects us from fatty liver disease.

Cyperone: A sesquiterpene used in treatment of cervical cancer. It is also known to benefit heart and blood pressure problems as well as menstruation problems.

Solavetivone: A powerful anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agent.

Physalin: A natural compound that boosts the immune system. Found to be effective in treating leukaemia, hepatitis B and cancer.

A laboratory procedure was recently developed to measure the amount of antioxidants the foods we eat contain. The procedure known as ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) was developed by Dr. Guohua Cao at USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, USA. ORAC is one of the most sensitive and reliable methods for measuring the ability of antioxidants to absorb free radicals. It is the only test to combine both time and degree of inhibition of free radicals.

According to Tufts University, the average person needs approximately 3,000 to 5,000 ORAC units per day to have a significant impact on plasma and tissue antioxidant capacity. Three servings of fruits and vegetables per day provide approximately 1200 ORAC units. This means the average person is short by up to 3800 ORAC units each day, depending on the fruits and vegetables they are choosing and their body's requirements. To make up the difference, experts recommend supplementing our diet with high ORAC foods to become and stay healthy and slow down …

Sexual health is an important part of a man’s overall health and wellness, and a healthy penis is obviously a key player in this respect. Everyone knows that to keep the body healthy, it is important to work out, eat right, take vitamins, get plenty of rest, avoid smoking, manage stress and limit alcohol intake – but few men take the time to give their penis a little extra TLC. Proper penis health care should be integrated into the daily routine of every man; the use of a penis vitamin creme containing Vitamin E is one way to improve the skin quality and health of the penis.

What are the Health Benefits of Vitamin E?

Vitamin E has many health boosting properties, one of which being its antioxidant function – antioxidants fight free radicals in the body which can cause cancer, as well as signs of premature aging. Vitamin E also reduces cholesterol in the body by stopping cholesterol from being changed to plaque. Plaque is responsible for narrowing the blood vessels and damaging cardiovascular health, which can lead to coronary artery disease. Vitamin E also reduces joint inflammation caused by arthritis, boosts immune functioning, and works with other essential nutrients to regulate hormones in the body. Vitamin E is an especially important nutrient for skin care, as it helps retain moisture, prevents skin dryness and can help protect the skin from UV rays.

What are the Penis Benefits of Vitamin E?

Vitamin E carries with it several penis-specific benefits. Vitamin E can improve the quality and appearance of the penis skin as it penetrates the skin cells, soothing irritation while moisturizing, smoothing and revitalizing the skin on contact. Vitamin E is also beneficial for men suffering from Peyronie’s disease – a condition in which the penis painfully curves due to scar tissue – vitamin E can help improve existing symptoms of Peryonie’s disease and may have preventative properties to keep the penis tissue healthy and straight. It can also prevent shortening of the penis tissue caused by Peyronie’s. Vitamin E increases blood flow throughout the body, all the way to those tiny blood vessels that make up the penis, this speeds healing and helps maintain the health of the penis tissue.

Sources of Vitamin E

There are many food sources that contain Vitamin E. The Food and Nutrition Board at the Institute of Medicine recommend adults intake 15 mg of Vitamin E daily. To ensure the daily dose is met, load up on the following foods:

  • Wheat germ oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil and palm oil
  • Nuts, almonds, hazelnuts
  • Spinach, collard greens, dandelion greens
  • Avocados, asparagus, broccoli, beets, turnips, tomatoes, sweet potatoes pumpkin
  • Mangoes, papayas, kiwi

For individuals who aren’t the biggest fans of fruits and veggies, vitamin E can be found in over the counter daily multivitamins, or as a vitamin E only supplement.

Maintaining Penis Health

While vitamin E can be taken in pill form to reach the recommended daily intake, to achieve the best result for the penis, it should be applied directly to the skin. An all-natural penis vitamin creme (most professional recommend Man 1 Man Oil) containing vitamin E can be gently rubbed on the area to soothe, heal and protect the skin. When choosing a creme, ensure it is intended for use on the genital area, as lotions and cremes which are not formulated for the penis, may cause irritation of the skin. Other key ingredients a penis creme should contain include: shea butter, for moisturizing; Acetyl L Carnitine, for nerve healing; Alpha Lipoic Acid, for cell metabolism; vitamin A, for anti-bacterial properties; vitamin D, for anti-oxidant properties, and vitamin C, for collagen production.

How good is your health?

Most people forget that good health is the greatest asset they can have in life.

They work hard all their lives without taking proper care of themselves

for many years until one day they break down.

Don’t wait until you’ve a nervous break down, to face the reality.

You should balance your activities with the proper amount of rest.

Some of the leading experts in the field of aging now believe that regular exercise along with the proper amount of rest may actually add years to the life span.

Results from a number of tests indicate that speed and muscular strength of many of the elderly can be extended.

Leading authorities agree that this new data is going to shatter many of the myths about aging and physical performance.

The conclusion now is that the performance and ability of the elderly has long been underestimated, diet, proper sleep and exercise along with rest and relaxation are all important factors in preserving our bodies.

Laughter is one of the best things for your mental and physical state.

People are naturally attracted to someone who has a good sense of humor.

You can develop a good outlook and a good sense of humor by associating with and surrounding yourself with pleasant happy people.

Recognize that stress is a killer. A life filled with stress can really wreak havoc on your body causing a number of illnesses such as hear attacks, strokes, asthma, gastric problems, menstrual disorders, ulcerative colitis, angina, irritable colon, increased blood pressure, ulcers, headaches, etc.

There are different types of stress such as mental, emotional and physical.

Emotional stress seems to take the greatest toll on everyone.

All stress is not bad; in fact, life would not be very interesting if it were not met with challenges.

However, too much stress, too often with no effective and appropriate outlet, does not allow the body and soul to recuperate.

You might review a typical week to see if you can identify things that might be making you anxious or causing you stress.

Once identified, stressors can be attacked and eliminated.

Are you a worrier? Chronic worriers don’t have more serious problems than others – they just think they do.

Many worriers try to cope by trying not to think about their problems, but this just makes things worse.

Doctors say that chronic worriers feel less anxious if they actually spend a half-hour a day thinking specifically about their problems.

Get plenty of exercise. People who are physically fit look good and feel good.

A good exercise regimen will lengthen your life. Improve your appearance, build self confidence and help delay the aging process.

Remember that you need to do something physical every day.

If you don’t use your joints, quite simply they’ll tighten up with age to create the stooped, bent and worn out appearance we so often associate with old age.

Studies have shown that people with arthritis experience less pain if they continue to keep their joints flexible.

As one gets older, the bones tend to get brittle which is why it is common for senior citizens to break bones and especially their hips when they fall.

Eating right, getting proper sleep and learning to relax are all very valuable in maintaining a healthy body and mind.

And keep in mind that eating healthy foods and avoiding those high in fats, sodium and cholesterol will help to decrease your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure and associated problems.

May these good health news and insights help you to live a longer, healthy and happy life.

Warmly,

I recommend you watching the “Bigger, Stronger, Faster” movie. If you know nothing about bodybuilding competitions, how the photos are made or the truth about fitness models and steroids definitely check that out.

Here are few quotes from that film:

Christian Boeving was asked what he thinks about people that buy the supplements he promotes.

“If they choose to think that that supplement is the only thing I take to look like that, then so be it, they should be smarter than that.”

Bodybuilders and fitness models take drugs and the pictures are also improved in the Photoshop.

Here are few more interesting things you can hear in the movie “Bigger, Stronger, Faster”:

“I would say that about 80 – 90% I see in magazines is hogwash”

“There are a lot of techniques that I can use to completely manipulate the body.”

“Some before and after pictures can be shot in a same day, I’ve actually done it”

Whole new perspective, don’t you think?

Role models are on steroids

Photos in magazines are manipulated

Crap, everything is a lie!

When I first find out the truth, it has completely shaken my perception of bodybuilding.

I’m glad it did. Because now I can see everything much more clearly.

Most of the guys in the gym think that they can look exactly like them. And without steroids of course.

Guess what they start doing once they have this goal?

They buy a fitness magazine and learn all the new rules that they have to follow no matter what and if not they will never look like their heroes.

They learn that they need to take protein in them mourning, before and after workout and of course in middle of night because the body is in the “starvation mode” right? We cannot forget on BCAA, gainers and creatine. And you can easily get to 200 bucks per months just per useless supplements (apart the creatine).

The best business ever – make “useless crap” and sell it for a lot of money.

According to Natural Products Foundation the supplement industry contributes to the U.S economy more than 60 Billion dollars. I don’t think that anybody can even imagine how much money is that.

Just think for a while, how much money the supplement industries make just by packaging the protein, creatine and coffein.

(If you still think that supplements are magic pills that will give you 30 pounds of muscles, look at that number again.)

Back to the guys that are trying to put on muscles.

After some time they really put some on muscles (and fat as well) and it looks that it is from the supplements.

And the years go on and on. Do you know what happen?

Oh yea, they turn into a “Gym rat”.

The point is that everything in the current bodybuilding industry is ruled by supplement companies and professional bodybuilders who are on the juice. And if you will not be aware of it you could end up pretty badly. I hope you have got a new perspective on bodybuilders and building muscles in general.

So, what is the lesson from this?

Don’t take the professional bodybuilders and fitness models as your role models, somebody you want to look like. Why? Because you cannot look like them. It’s just not going to happen without a “little” help of steroids.
